Wow it's been a while. I had a LOT going on after I started this blog and didn't realize how busy I was. Adam and I moved to Hattiesburg so he could finish school. I found a job in insurance here so it worked out perfectly. Well me and Adam got married December 18, 2010. It was by far the happiest day of my life! He is my best friend in the whole world and I couldn't imagine my life without him. Our wedding went off without a hitch (ok...there were a few bumps that day but for the most part it was PERFECT). I realized that day that nothing else mattered other than the fact that we were married. I can't wait to get my professional pictures back so I can share them with you. By the way...all of you brides out there looking for a photographer need to check out Courtneybluephotography.com. She's on facebook as well. She was amazing and so much fun! She did out engagement pictures as well and they are fabulous!! Enough about the wedding though because those of you that know me know that I can go on and on until I'm blue in the face.

Congratulations to all of my friends who have recently got engaged. I'm so excited for you and can't wait to share your special day with you. Several of my bridesmaids are about to get married!

This past weekend was terrible. Adam went to Wiggins to ride 4-wheelers and he didn't get phone service so I couldn't talk to him for TWO days!! That's an eternity for me and him who have talked every single day for the past 10 years! I didn't want to go because I thought it was going to be freezing and it didn't sound fun. Little did I know, it was a blast! He had so much fun. In a way I'm glad I didn't go because he needs time with his friends. I get to see him everyday so a couple days with "just the guys" isn't bad. That was the 1st night we have been apart since we've been married so it was pretty hard. As for my weekend, I spent the weekend visiting with my brother, Cory, my little cousins, and Whittney! Whittney talked me into going to church with her at Pinelake Sunday and little did I know, I LOVED IT! It was so different from what I'm use to. I'm taking Adam this coming weekend. I don't want to move from my little church because I love my church family, but this is totally different from anything I've ever seen. It was a whole new world of sharing God's word. Everyone should try it at least once!

I feel like I'm rambling on now so I'll stop. I'll try to update at least once a week. I just don't have a whole lot to talk about YET! But I do want to share my first year of marriage with everyone and keep my family and friends updated =)

Well unfortunatly the worst has happened. I never dreamed that planning a wedding would get this hard and STRESSFUL. My reception venue (which we chose the church and everything around) is going bankrupt. I have ordered my invitations, save the dates, and paid for the church and reception venue in full. The church refunded our money, but we are still waiting to hear what the reception venue is going to do with our refund, if anything. Unfortunatly we may never see that money again and it wasn't pocket change :(

I know God has a plan for everything and I am praying he will give me the strength to get through this mess. In the end I will be married to my best friend no matter if we have the reception in our backyards (yeah that's not gonna happen but it sounded good).

We moved the wedding ceremony to our home church at First Baptist in Terry. Since it's our church home, I think everything will be easier. As far as the reception we are looking into everything! Being the week before Christmas, a lot of venues are booked for Christmas parties and such.

We have high hopes that everything will be fine and we have put it in God's hands as we should. I have never felt so confused in my life and planning a wedding shouldn't be this stressful. It should be a happy time and right now it isn't, but in the end everything will be beautiful just as I've always dreamed it would. I just pray it happens fast. I have had a lot of help, thoughful and uplifting words from family and friends, and best of all my mother and soon to be mother and law have really pulled through and been a HUGE help and stress reliever!! Thank you to everyone who has helped me and Adam through this stressful and hard rut.

I have been told that I needed a blog to keep everyone updated on our wedding plans! So here it is. I hope i don't bore everyone to death. The wedding is about six months out so be prepared for a lot of my venting to you.

I am so excited and cannot wait to FINALLY marry my best friend. We have only been together nine years now so I believe it's about that time! Since the wedding is getting closer I am trying to finalize every detail. Well it's a little hard when you have absolutly NO idea what you want. I change my mind every day. I know I've said I wish I would have just eloped and been done with it, but I have truely enjoyed most of the planning. It has been stressful, but it has also been a lot of fun! Adam and I had our first "wedding party" last month so our friends in the wedding could get to know each other. For the most part we had a good time, minus a few mishaps :/ Here are a few pictures of the party!
